Hanna Restaurant

Do you want to eat real Hungarian Jewish food like grandma used to make? Or looking for somewhere heimish (homey) to dine? Then Hanna is the place – and the reasonable prices are just a bonus. Opened in the early 1960s, Hanna restaurant has long-been a meeting point and melting pot for locals and international visitors, attracting diners from across Europe and as far afield as America, Israel and Australia. Seating is spread across two floors – but it is the delightful terrace that catches our eye during these sunny days.

The hechsher (rabbinical product certification) is overseen by Rabbi Shmuel Eliezer Stern, and given by Rabbi Menachem Meir Hakohen Adler and Rabbi Avraham Chaim Meir Gestettner, all from Bnei Beraq.

Hechsher is approved by Rabbi Menachem Meir HaKohen Adler.
Hanna was established at the court of the Kazinczy synagogue in the beginning of 1960s. The quality of delicates and the interior design have been improved through the years. Nowadays, the restaurant offers both Hungarian meals and Jewish specialities for the guests.
